PMU Brow aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential for beautiful, long-lasting results. Your skin needs time to heal, and following these guidelines will help ensure the best outcome.
Immediate Aftercare (First 24 Hours)
✅ Gently blot the area with a clean tissue or cotton pad to absorb any lymphatic fluid. Do this every few hours to prevent scabbing.
✅ Keep the area clean and dry—no water, sweat, or steam on the treated area.
✅ Apply a thin layer of recommended healing ointment (if advised). Do not over-apply.
🚫 Avoid touching, rubbing, or picking at the area.
🚫 No makeup, lotions, or skincare products on the treated area.
🚫 Avoid excessive facial movement to prevent irritation.
Healing Phase (Days 2-10)
✅ Expect some scabbing, flaking, or light peeling. Let it come off naturally.
✅ Continue to keep the area dry. If needed, use a damp cotton pad to gently clean around the area.
✅ Apply the recommended healing balm sparingly, if directed.
✅ Protect from sun exposure—wear a hat and avoid direct sunlight.
🚫 No swimming, saunas, or heavy sweating.
🚫 No exfoliants, retinol, or active skincare near the area.
🚫 Avoid sleeping on your face.
Weeks 2-4: Healing & Color Settling
✅ The color may appear lighter or patchy at first—this is normal! The pigment will soften and settle over the next few weeks.
✅ Resume normal skincare but avoid direct exfoliation over the treated area.
✅ If dryness persists, apply a small amount of healing ointment.
🚫 Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for at least 4 weeks.
🚫 Do not pick at any remaining dry skin.
Long-Term Care
✅ Always wear SPF over your healed permanent makeup to prevent fading.
✅ Schedule annual touch-ups to maintain fresh, even results.
✅ Keep the area moisturized with a gentle, fragrance-free balm.
